About "Deeper Pockets" Seminar

Grow your hygiene program, improve the health of your patients, and demystify the most recent American Association of Periodontists criteria for diagnosis in this entertaining, real-world applicable course.

Despite being one of the most common diseases of the human body, periodontitis is underdiagnosed and under-treated. In a changing diagnostic and economic landscape, providers may struggle to see the value of proper, thorough diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease to their practices and patients. However, it is imperative for the health of our patients and our practices that we pay special attention to this disease.

Template for an insurance narrative, sample periodontal protocol, and course handout will be provided via email at the end of the course.

Upon Completion of this Course, you will:

  • Understand AAP 2017 classification of periodontal disease

  • Understand the current research on the connection between periodontal disease and systemic disease

  • Employ consequences-based treatment presentations to motivate patients to get healthier

  • Develop a protocol for treating periodontal disease at your office to drive the health of your patients and success of your practice
